CPR training: An important and profitable Asset!
An employee
holding a first aid, CPR, and defibrillator training certificate, with a
minimum of 16 hours and provided by a training agency recognized by the
Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail
(CNESST), is entitled to a prime of $ 0.60/hour.
This training
is mandatory to obtain a new security agent license issued by the Bureau de la
Sécurité privée. The employee only needs to show its training certificate to
his employer to benefit from this advantage. It does not need to be required by
the employer of the client for it to apply.
We strongly recommend that you keep proof of sending your certificate to your employer.
Furthermore, unlike other primes (except for P-12
prime), the P-4 prime must be increased when an employee works more than 40
hours a week. In this case of overtime, the prime is $ 0.90/hour.
